ARE Retake Policy to be Shortened to Allow Three Retakes a Year
Today NCARB announce that it will shorten the retake time for the ARE from 6 months to 60 days! This change will go into effect October 1st, 2014. Read more about it here.

NCARB proposes to drastically reduce time to certification for broadly experienced and foreign architects
Yesterday NCARB announced proposed changes to the broadly experienced program as well. Dependign on the feedback of the 54 member jurisdictions these proposal could be voted on as early as the June 2015 Business Meeting. Read more about it here.

NCARB proposes realigning the Intern Development Program to reflect contemporary practice
Also coming out yesterday NCARB realesed its proposal for changes to the IDP. This could include elimination of the elective hour requirements and streamligning of the experience categories to align with the new ARE 5.0. Read more about it here.
