Ayse Cooper with VACUUBRAND, INC. will be in the Midland office of PSC on June 21st to discuss modular solutions to laboratory vacuum systems. The presentation will start at 12:00PM. Lunch will be provided by VACUUBRAND, INC. so please be
sure to RSVP, by either accepting the email invite or by emailing Shane Danley, no later than Friday, June 16th so that our provider can plan for lunch.

VACUUBRAND’s lab vacuum networks provide a modular solution to laboratory vacuum which has provided a variety of benefits to facility owners, scientists, and the A/E/D community for the past 20 years. For example:
* Facility owners have benefited
from an economical and modular solution to lab vacuum.
* Scientists have benefited from
deep, stable lab vacuum that is better-suited to their research objectives than
outdated alternatives.
* The A/E/D community has
benefited from an adaptable, sustainable approach to laboratory vacuum for
renovations and new construction that leaves clients with a more functional
facility.
The simple
philosophy is to install the appropriate (flow and pressure), on-demand vacuum
only where it is needed, therefore eliminating costly overbuilding, energy
waste, and avoiding a central vacuum source with its many inherent problems
(corrosion, leakage, instability, cross-contamination between inputs, biohazard
exposure during maintenance). Finally a central vacuum system cannot meet the
needs of chemistry researchers which requires them to purchase additional
pumps.
During our
hour-long session, we would like to review the benefits of this approach and
speak with interested staff members about how this technology can be
implemented on future laboratory projects. We will also address how these
systems help to achieve sustainability objectives while providing an economical
and reliable solution.
