WTxAIA - DESIGN AWARDS 2015 - CALL FOR ENTRIES

DESIGN AWARDS
All entries will be evaluated on excellence in design, regardless of size, budget or type. The number of Awards will be at the discretion of the jury. The jury proceedings are not open to non-committee members nor the public.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMITTAL

• Entries must be projects designed by AIA/West Texas Chapter members (membership required at time of project design execution).
• Firms may submit an unlimited number of entries.
• Entries shall be deemed eligible even if the submitting Architect is not the sole Architect involved. Where one Architect is not the sole author, the Design Architect must have been an AIA/West Texas Chapter member when the project was executed, and all participants substantially contributing to the design of the project must be given credit as part of the submission. For multi-building projects, the Architect submitting the project (or portion thereof) shall designate the authorship of each portion of the project.
• AIA/West Texas does not accept responsibility for errors in submission.
• Projects cannot have previously won an WTxAIA Design Award (with the exception of a completed project submission that has previously won an Un-Built Award).
• The design architect must have been registered with the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners and a member of WTxAIA at the time the project was executed.
• Projects must be submitted in the name of the firm that executed the commission. If that firm has been dissolved or its name has been changed, an individual or successor firm may enter projects in the name of the firm in effect at the time the project was executed.
• Un-built projects must have been intended for construction, and can not be eligible if under construction.
• Objects, interiors, graphics, and urban design & planning are all eligible for submittal.
• The Design Awards Committee reserves the right to verify all information and to disqualify any entry that does not comply with the eligibility requirements.

FEES/SCHEDULE
$75 per entry.
Make checks or money orders payable to West Texas AIA.  
No entry fees will be refunded.
Entry Form & Fee Deadline: Tuesday, March 31st by 5 pm
Entry Submissions Due: Tuesday, May 5th by 5 pm
Awards Presentation: TBD
